Popular Livvi’s Place playground is set to get a new play tower, flying fox and accessible amenities as part of The Hills Shire Council’s stage 2 work plans.
Located within Bernie Mullane Sports Complex, Kellyville, the all-abilities playground was constructed in 2009 and extended in 2017.
The first stage was created in consultation with the community, with council now calling on residents to again have a say on its design and extension works.
The proposed playground extension features a range of new park and playground elements to complement the existing facilities, including:
- An accessible amenities building;
- Additional play equipment including a play tower and flying fox;
- Selected areas of rubber soft fall surfacing;
- Accessible pathways;
- Additional picnic facilities and park seating; and
- Tree planting and soft landscaping works
