Sydney Action Park Set to Make a Splash in Western Sydney

June 19, 2026

One of Western Sydney’s most popular summer attractions is entering an exciting new chapter, with Raging Waters Sydney set to be rebranded as Sydney Action Park following its acquisition by the family-owned Eddy Group of Companies, operators of Jamberoo Action Park.

The purchase marks the third ownership change for the Prospect-based water park since it first opened in 2013 as Wet’n’Wild Sydney. In 2018, the park was renamed Raging Waters Sydney, and now, under its new owners, it is preparing for a major transformation.

The Eddy family has been operating Jamberoo Action Park on the NSW South Coast for more than 45 years and has earned a reputation for continually investing in new attractions and enhancing the visitor experience. Their acquisition of the Western Sydney park has been welcomed by local tourism and business groups, who see the move as a significant boost for the region.

Plans for Sydney Action Park include the introduction of new rides and attractions inspired by Sydney’s iconic landmarks and culture, an extended operating season, and more days open to the public throughout the year. Visitors will also benefit from combined season pass options with Jamberoo Action Park, creating greater value for families and thrill-seekers alike. Existing Raging Waters season passes will continue to be honoured during the transition.

The timing of the investment is particularly significant as Western Sydney prepares for the opening of the new Western Sydney Airport. Industry leaders believe the revitalised attraction could play an important role in drawing visitors to the region and helping to create broader tourism experiences for both domestic and international travellers.

Jamberoo’s success over the years has been built on a commitment to reinvestment, with major additions including attractions such as Funnel Web, Perfect Storm and Velocity Falls. Many visitors have long praised Jamberoo for its variety of rides and ongoing improvements, making the Eddy family’s involvement an encouraging sign for the future of the Prospect park.

While the name may be changing, the vision behind Sydney Action Park is much bigger than a simple rebrand. With fresh investment, new attractions and a focus on long-term growth, the park is positioning itself as a premier destination for family entertainment in Western Sydney for years to come.
