Independent Magazines is a small business publishing powerhouse that celebrates local stories, positive people and provides a fantastic platform for businesses to share their expertise and services.
Started in 2010 by Publisher Julie Ryan when the Hawkesbury Independent launched, Independent Magazines has steadily grown in size and respect. The Hills Independent launched in 2015 and within three months had increased distribution by 50% thanks to the local demand for the publication.
A dedicated team of 12 staff working in production, editorial and sales work closely every month to provide magazines with topical and warm stories that celebrate community.
